surf and yoga retreat in Bali

Do you want to switch everything off for a while and get away from the job, or the hustle and bustle of city life, and recharge your body and mind? Well, at the surf and yoga retreat in Bali with Aloha Bali Surf you can do exactly that. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro at surfing or yoga, we have a little something for everyone.

Here are some of the yoga classes we offer!

Pranayama

This type of yoga focuses primarily on the breath. By doing breathing exercises, you can clear the physical and emotional obstacles in your body that are obstructing your prana, or vital energy. Pranayama yoga helps you relax and energizes and heals your body, creating a healthy balance.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a less strenuous version of yoga based on postures designed to relax the nervous system. Rather than increasing your energy levels like other types of yoga, this one focuses specifically on opening your body through deep breathing, stretching, and long-held poses.

Slow Flow

This type of yoga helps you find space between poses while keeping up the rhythm of a flow yoga class. It’s a combination of two types of yoga, Vinyasa and Hatha, which we’ll get to next. It’s a good yoga for beginners because of its more relaxed, yet steady tempo.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is concentrated on focusing your body and mind. A traditional Hatha class encompasses various poses and physical postures, in addition to breathing techniques. It’s good for anxiety and depression, as well as stress management.

Dynamic Vinyasa

In this type of yoga, all of the poses are designed to run together in a smooth way, without breaks in between. It provides a good workout and can be a bit more demanding than other types of yoga.

Inversion Yoga

Last but certainly not least, inversion yoga is composed of poses designed to keep the heart higher from the ground than the head. Inversion yoga gives your heart a rest while stimulating circulation and your lymphatic system.
