What food do you provide?
We partner with He’enalu Café & Resto who offers a tropical vibe with a Hawaiian touch to bring a love of a good food & great beverages to the heart of Uluwatu, Bali. He’enalu Café & Resto is dedicated to give a new way to enjoy delightful, healthy meals, keeping things fresh, with top quality homemade ingredients cooked from scratch each day.
Do we need a car / scooter to get around?
All transportation from the retreat to surf and yoga sessions is included in the packages. Green Bowl beach is 1 km from the retreat which you can reach by foot. There is an option to hire push-bikes or scooters if you wish to explore more autonomously.
How can I get from the International Airport to the Retreat?
Airport transfers are provided with every surf package purchased. Make sure you communicate your flight details so suitable arrangements can be made.
Where are the yoga classes held?
We partner with Yoga Hub, where classes are held daily at either 8:30am or 5pm. Classes vary on a daily basis.
What's the minimum number of days of a retreat?
Each retreat runs from Saturday (Check in from 2pm) to Saturday (Check out by 12pm), making them 7 nights in total. You can buy multiple retreats for a longer more intense surf experience.
What's the weather like in Bali?
Bali’s tropical monsoon climate has two distinct seasons: dry (between May to September) and wet (between October to April). Monsoon refers to the wind, not the rain. However even in the wet monsoon, in this tropical paradise it is still likely it will be sunny for a good part of the day.
Where will we surf?
Depending on ability, season and conditions, Aloha Bali Surf will always find a suitable wave to take their surfers to. Most commonly, we frequent: Baby Padang, Jimbaran, Dreamland, Bingin, Impossibles, Uluwatu, Green Bowl, Black Stone, Mushrooms, Elevators…to name a few…


Payment Terms
A 50% of the total invoice value deposit is required for confirmation of booking and the remaining 50% will need to be settled a minimum of 30 days prior to check in. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
If Guests wish to cancel a confirmed booking, written notice of cancellation must be sent to Aloha Bali Surf Management ( All cancellation notices received will be acknowledged in writing. It is strongly recommended that Guests and all members of the Guests party purchase separate trip cancellation insurance. Cancellation of a booking includes but is not limited to: •Cancellation of one or more days of a booking; •An amendment of a booking so that none of the dates of the booking once amended fall within the same dates that originally constituted the booking; •Failure of all Guests to provide the required documentation on arrival (eg. Passports or suitable identification); and •Attempt by the Guest, their party or visitors to hold an event at the Property in breach of these Terms and Conditions or breach of any rules applicable to the Guest’s chosen Property. In the event that the Guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will generally apply: •50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 90 days before the start of the rental period. •75% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 31 and 89 days before the start of the rental period. •100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made 30 days or less prior the start of the rental period. The applicable amount will be deducted from the deposit and moneys paid, and Aloha Bali Surf will refund any remaining balance to the Guest.
Damages, Breakages and Losses
Guests are responsible for looking after the retreat property, leaving it in good order and in a clean condition. Guests also undertake to pay for damages, breakages or losses they may be responsible for during the period of their stay. All surfboards are covered by our surfboard insurance which is included in every surf package. We recommend all guests to take out their own separate insurance.
We recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking, to protect you and all those accompanying you for the full time of your visit against illness, including evacuation, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, theft, cancellation and other travel contingencies.
Please be advised that we are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal equipment and property during your stay at with Aloha Bali Surf, or during your participation in any activities during your visit to Bali. We will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which maybe caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control such as late arrival of International flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment.
Aloha Bali Surf and its partners do not allow firearms or weapons of any kind in the Villa grounds under any circumstances. Agents, Renter or their guests must advise villa management prior to arrival, their intentions to carry firearms / weapons and will be required to report the same at the Desa Kutuh Police Station (KAPOSPOL). Any failure to report Firearms / Weapons will result in immediate cancelation of the booking and all moneys paid to date will be forfeited. Aloha Bali Surf and partners reserve the right to request police assistance in this matter.
